Hello Martha:

There are no RHODY Maras at any date, anywhere in Ireland. This is likely a "pet" or nickname.

For ???? Mara B 1844 +/- 6 yrs, Co. Cork or Co. Mayo, with the father's forename unknown, I found 70 records. The vast majority are in Co. Cork. You will need his real forename, a more exact DOB, parent(s) name(s), and/or placename(s) to pick which, if any, is the right one.

In another database for Co. Cork, I found the following:

Baptism of JOHN MEARA of N/R on 28 May 1843
Parish/Church/Congregation - INNISHANNON Area - CORK & ROSS (RC)
Name JOHN MEARA
Address N/R
Father WILLIAM MEARA
Mother MARY TWOHIG
Further details in the record
Sponsor 1 TOM TWOHIG
Sponsor 2 BETTY HURLEY

Hope this helps. Good luck
