I have just found that my husband's great grandfather's name is O.V. MAPP. I found this through the obituaries on microfilm of several of his children. One son William (Bill) MAPP's obituary said Bill was the son of Oce V. MAPP and Addie BOZEMAN MAPP. However, in the Carroll Co. Cemetery Book he's listed as O.B.

I have seen in these posts here the name of Oth B. MAPP. It seems to be the same person and I was wondering the source of this spelling. In our local newspaper I found O.V.'s obituary in the May 27, 1938 issue.

I would like to know if anyone knows what his sister's names are that are listed below. Also I haven't figured out his daughters - Mrs. George WALKER and Mrs. W. E. COBB. (I think I just found an Irma MAPP m. George M. WALKER in the Carroll Co. Marriage Book - is this right?)

We are from the line of Alfred Starling MAPP. I would love to share information and pictures, pictures, pictures.

Here's the obit:

May 27, 1938
