Hi Gareth and Geoffrey,

It is nice to speak to other Mapps living in the UK. Most links I see seem to have Mapps in the USA.

I have just started researching my family tree. My Grandad has a wall hanging that says that Mapps are a bunch of pig thieves. I find this most worrying :-).

There are a few of us out there, he is the youngest of 12 surviving children. His sister (my great aunt) has just turned 100 this year and doing extremely well for her age too.
