Thanks Joe. That makes sence. I assume Sarah Button b.1803 is then the mother of Samuel S. Mapes Jr. b. 1829? My next dead end I'm coming to now is who are Samuel Mapes Sr. b.1800 grandparents on his mothers side? I have down that his mother is Dinah Riley b.1765 but no information on her parents. Thanks for all your help. Im very thankful for this forum and yes please send me the information on your books and cd.
