Any Mapes researchers know anything about William Coleman's parentage? William born about 1650 died 1705 - his wife whom he married in Southold, Suffolk Co NY 1680 was Sarah Mapes 1662-1707 -- love to know more about his family. Also have he was married #1 to Sarah Purrier but no more info. Anyone know for sure? I descend from his son, George (wife Abigail Clark -- anyone know anything about her family), then through their son, JOseph COleman (1718-1799). I don't even know his wife's name. Anyone? Their daughter, Sarah married George Smith. I have quite a bit on the Smith family way back and forward, but the Coleman's have so many blanks, I'd love some help sorting it all out :) THANKS in advance :)
