Thanks so very much!! I did have the Swanson family connections, but had never seen the article in Grip's. What a treasure that is!! I didn't have the birth info on Orville Jr. either. The article says that Orville grew up in Otsego County, near Cooperstown, and I had always wondered if we were connected to those Manzers, so your help has been invaluable to me. Thanks again... Marlene
