The Manzers were a part of my quest to find the husband of Ollie Rusk who married an Evilsizer after she married Mr manzer. I have all of this info in my file which I will send if you contact me directly at Evilsizer3@aol.com

I assumed that fathers name their children after them, so When Delvans child named lawrence died in San Diego in 1978 and I found a Lawrence manzer in the San Diego phone book, I assumed it MIGHT be his son. The name is quite unique. Larry was very pleased to give me the info that I needed and told me where his grandmother Ollie Rusk was buried. When I found the cemetery, I found her Evilsizer husband too, so I was elated to tie up some loose ends. Larry exprssed interest in learing more about his ancestry and I told him I would help. So I am seeking the parents of Delvan. The 1880 census says he and his parents were born in NY, so I search the rest of the 1880 census and found a Lawrence manzer born NY age 65 living in FonduLac Wisconsin and I am hoping I can prove this is his father. I think Delvan also had a brother who might have died, as in Adams Nebraska in 1880 next to him is an Emily Manzer with children. Any help greatly appreciated.
