So glad someone is looking up this line. Delavan is (I believe) the brother of Carrie Manzer. She married Samuel Higgins the same day, the same courthouse as Delavan married Sarah. Sarah is the sister of Samuel T. Higgins. Delavan and Samuel both had land in Nebraska. Delavanleft Nebraska before Samuel and Carrie did, but both ended in Colorado (My grandmother is Carrie's daughter, Wrena Higgins. The name is how she spelled it.) Would love to see what you've got and compare.
