The address of the house where the store- "Hovis" was (now part of home is 21 Broadwater St. East, Broadwater.
The census of 1881 does not give address numbers for the residents on Broadwater. I also This is William Manwarring with 2 "r's".
There is also a store mentioned in 1871 census in Burwash also a William Manwaring b. Broadwater. There is also a William Manwaring 1779-1837, b. Burwash.
What I found interesting when in Toronto recently and visiting the Central Library was the mention of a Stephen Manwaring 49, Cooper & Grocer in Burwash that had a visitor William 30, a Grocer & Baker, b. Broadwater and Elisabeth S. b. Broadwater. Stephen and wife Rachel have a son, Charles 15 as does William Manwarring, Broadwater a son Charles 18.
