What I can offer you on Marion:
She was born July 13, 1866 in LaCross, WI and was the only child of Helen Adelia Wood Manville (a well known poet and contributor to periodicals born August 3, 1839 at New Berlin, NY the daughter of Col. Artemus Underwood). On her father's side (Marvin Madison Monroe Manville), Marion is a desdendent from teh English and French family of Mandeville. She began to write for the press young and became a magazine contributor.
She traveled to South America, Europe and Africa and the US. She was an expert painter and an amateur sculptor as well as a fine conversationalist.
Her first work, Over the Divide, was a collection of poems and published in 188 by the JB Lippincott Co of Philadelphia. She married on 9/22/1891 to Charles Alvan Pope (an englishmean whom then resided in Valparaiso, Chili). They lived at Saenz Buia 105, Buenes Aires, Argentina.

Hope this helps.
