Suddie and Burnett don't ring a bell but my grandfather Joseph Oliver Mantooth had a brother by the name of Oscar who was maybe 2 years younger than him (probable birthdate 1887) and he was engaged to be married when he died. The name Oscar was maybe a family name. My Mantooths lived in Franklin and Jackson Counties of Arkansas after leaving Cocke Co. in the 1890s. They lived around Ozark in 1900 when there was much illness because of the mosquitos and humidity in Jackson County in the farming country south of Newport. There were other Mantooth families living in Franklin County who moved there in the 1870s.
