I can help you with extensive information on the Manton family, including the father, grand-father, etc. of Taldon Manton. My mother, Kathleen Manton Austin, grew up not far from Ryan, Oklahoma and knew his older half-sisters quite well. Taldon's half sister, Katherine Manton, served briefly as Secretary of State in Oklahoma.
