Here is the only information I have relative to the Button factory. In 1854 John became a partner in the firm of Dain,Watts & Manton.In 1867 the firm was Watts & Manton.In 1884 the firms name was changed again to J.S.Manton Co.He retired in 1900 with a small fortune.
