Most Canadian Manthorne's in Nova Scotia
For those posting here:
Looking up MANTHORNE under - www.canada411.com - there are only 76 in all of Canada, and most are still in Nova Scotia. In fact, quite a number are "clustered" in Guysborough County (Seal Harbour, Goldboro, Drum Head). This is a very remote area with spectacular vistas of the Atlantic. Until very recently it has not had much economic development and unemployemnt has been extremely high there. Now a new pipeline for oil and natural gas found in huge quantities offshore is bringing lots of economic activity to this rather forgotten corner of NS.
