Hi,
I am a descendant of Christina Mantei who was from Beresina, Bessarabia, South Russia. She was married to Johann Gottlieb Schmierer, their daughter, Maria married Samuel Zahn. Does she appear in any of your records? She did have a daughter Karolina/Carolina (perhaps named for her sister). I do know that her father's name was Daniel Mantei.
