Did you figure out which set of kids belonged to which father? Since you said that Fanny Caroline was an orphan of Lewis, I thought that her siblings would also be Lewis' children. That makes the others (Michel, et al) children of John. Is this right?

Did you find the wife Elizabeth's last name? I'm interested that these Manskers were in MO and particularly in Cape Girardeau which is where some of my husband's relations lived. I suspect a connection that I haven't yet proved between my husband's Bilderback relations and the Manskers. Samuel Mansker was guardian to Gabriel Marion (aka Francis Marion) Bilderback in 1833.
