Thankyou for your message,I am also having problems with our tree, after my cousin did our tree,I noticed a few mistakes,so I thought,I would do some research myself, also I became fascinated with genealogy. My cousin has my ggrandfather Edward Manser born 29 September1840 in Stradbroke Suffolk, also his brother William born 10 July 1840(not sure could be Kent). They both migrated to Australia on board "The Oriental" and arrived in Pt Adelaide in 1 November 1855. Their parents were Edward Manser born 11 Jan 1818 and Harriott unknown, this Edward is supposed to be the son of William and Sally Manser. This where I am having problems tracing him,as I can't find any record of him,he was supposed to have stayed behind when the rest of the family migrated aboard the Northumberland.I have no clue where this David comes into our family and also my cousin has a Delilah also that stayed behind and doesn't even mention one of their children called David. I am going to Adelaide next week to see family,so I will try and get in touch with David Manser of Mt Crawford, that helped my cousin do the tree, he has most of the history on William and Sally as he lives on the same property today, also they have Sally as Vitler, and I have seen a William born earlier as married to Sally Vitler, and see if I can find out more. Im starting to doubt our family is the correct one.If you like, you can email directly at firstname.lastname@example.org, as I can send some info I have recieved from lookups. Look forward to hearing from you.
