Hi Ken
here is a link to Family search just copy and paste into your addressbar ( https://www.familysearch.org/s/recordDetails/show?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fpilot.familysearch.org%2Frecords%2Ftrk%3A%2Ffsrs%2Frr_845436598%2Fp4&hash=HloWXpZgU9 )
it has Edward Mansell aged 24 married in 1853 to Mary smith her father Joseph Smith also Edwards Father Richard Mansell.
also the 1841 census has edward and Richard
Name:        Edwd Mansell
Age:        10
Estimated birth year:        abt 1831
Gender:        Male
Where born:        Staffordshire, England
Civil Parish:        Tipton
Hundred:        South Offlow
County/Island:        Staffordshire
Country:        England
Registration district:        Dudley
Sub-registration district:        Tipton
Household Members:
Richd Mansell        50
Jane Mansell        50
John Mansell        15
Edwd Mansell        10
Ann Mansell        8
Elizabeth b1811, Thomas b1813, Jane b1815, William b1817 and Ann b1820.
I believe these children could have left home, but since your post saying you could not find Edward with Richard this connection has me thinking because this Richard Mansell and Especially jane are both 50 a little old to have children. and this Edwards 2 years difference in age but this occurs in a census. I need to look at it again.
richard
