Hi Mandy
It has been 2 years since I checked this forum and I have just seen your posting. I can't recall whether we had correspondence at the time.
I am from Edwin and Betsy's son, James (James was my great grandfather)
My records show that your grandfather, William was married to Matilda with unknown surname and they had 8 children although I only have names for 6 of them. I would love to get more details if you have any.
How far back have you got? Have you discovered that the male Mansell line only goes back as far as Edwin's grandfather, Richard. Richard was illegitimate and his father was Crispin Prichards
