Sorry about the delay had hand surgery and a resulting cast most of the summer so my replys all got delayed. It is now catch-up time.
I have been in close contact with the Mansbridge families of Rolla, MO for the past half dozen years so believe my sources have been accurate.
I have Moses Mansbridge b 23 October 1843 Upsomborne, Hampshire England, d 1925 Rolla, MO.. married Mary Louise Devlin who was b. 1854 and died 23 June 1903 at Rolla.
Children were Elizabeth b. 1872 and George b. 2 April 1875.
There are not other children listed.
In the Notes I have, "He came to Rolla, Mo. at the age of 16 years. Lena Mae Mansbridge Fleming, writes in her MANSBRIDGE GENEALOGY of April 1984. Mose sic Mansbridge, a younger brother of John Mansbridge, came from England and joined his brother in Rolla: They had blacksmith shops and wagon repair shops together in Rolla. Later my father and George Mansbridge, son of Mose did repair work, blacksmith work and carpenter and painting work together."
"Moses is listed as a 7 year old in the 1851 census of Upsomborne, Winchester Records Office, He had left the household before the 1861 census" Hope this helps, Fred
