Temple, Thanks for the response. You actually have the wrong birth info for Levi and Milly, children of Aaron and Manor. Levi W. Manor was born Jan 1775 in Edgecomb, NC. He married Elizabeth Johnson first and she died in 1826. He then married Rosannah Roberson on 6 Sep 1827 in Monroe Co., Kentucky. They had Levi W. Manor born 1 Jul 1832 in Monroe Co., Kentucky.
Thanks for the response! You may want to update your info, though, Aaron would have been 96 years old when Milly was born. She may actually belong to Levi and Rosannah. They had an Amanda Melvina born in 1830.
Also, after doing a great deal of research, I believe that Mary was the granddaughter of Ann Vann, rather than her daughter. I have that Mary was the daughter of John Langston III and Elizabeth Person. John was the son of John Langston II and Ann Vann. Ann would have been about 93 when Mary was born. Ann's husband, John was born in 1660 in Nansemond, VA and died in 1747, before Mary was born.
As I said, I appreaciate the response. Someone had forwarded the same info to me you did and when I couldn't get Ann Vann's info to match up to Mary Langston's I started researching from scratch. I mean no offense. You are probably like me with 10 of thousands of names in your database and only a small portion of them are your direct line. I only double check info if it is part of my lineage. It was kind of you to recall the name and offer what info you had.
