Looking for any possible information about Robert Lee Manning. His Mother was Edna O'Neal of Hixson, Tn. Robert was born 11-29-1911 and served in the Marines, stationed at Camp Pendleton, California. He was a paratrooper and was highly decorated. He died in combat on March 10, 145 in Iwo Jima. I am looking for his wife, Juanita Anderson,his parents and any other information that anyone has. The wife and their 6 mo. old son cae back to the Chattanooga, Tn. area after Robert was killed.
Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.
