Joseph Manning, who died ca 1728, Piscataway, Middlesex Co. NJ with a son Jeffrey Manning, born ca 1719 was very likely the father of Jethro aka Jeffrey Manning. Joseph’s father was Jeffrey Manning who died 1692/93 in Piscataway. The time, place and matching grandfather/grandson names all support this assumption.
