George Hutchinson Mann, born Montreal, c1865
I am trying to find out why George Hutchinson Mann was born in Montreal Canada circa 1865/66. His parents William and Elizabeth Mann lived in Leeds, England as did George subsequently. I presume that William and Elizabeth were in Canada visiting relatives, when George was born. George became a well known engineer in his adult life and was particularly noted for designing steam wagons. George married Fanny Tingle in Leeds on 22 January 1889. I do not know when he died.
