His age is listed as 21 (born 1828/1829 in IL) and her age is listed as 14 (born 1835/1836 in IL). They also appear on page 347 of the 1860 census for Macoupin Co., dated 7/13/1860, as William and Margaret MANN. His age is listed as 32 (born 1827/1828 in IL) and her age is listed as 25 (born 1834/1835 in KY). There are four children listed, all born in IL.: George (age 9), Lunetta (age 6), Mary (age 5), and John (age 2).
William's brother, George W. MANN, age 18 (born 1831/1832 in IL), also appears on page 272 of the 1850 census living in the household of George BARNETT. William and George's mother, Mrs. Pacify Tinsey MANN married Andrew Jackson NASH in Carlinville, Macoupin Co., IL on 3/6/1849. The NASHs appear on page 250 of the 1850 census, dated 10/15/1850.
