I should have mentioned Alonzo's father, Cullen Manley, was born in North Carolina about 1806. He apparently went to Arkansas with the Cherokees, sometime before 1837, though he does not seem to have been a member of the tribe. I have no information about a connection to South Carolina, though Cullen Manley may have passed through Georgia--his wife in Arkansas was born there. Notify Administrator about this message?
