I have been attempting to connect two different Foster lines and both lines have a Manley in them but have not been able to connect the two. Perhaps someone here can help?
Frances Jackson Manley (b. 1798 In VA) had a granddaughter, Julia Ann Hudson who married my Great-grandfather, Guilford Park Foster. I have Frances' parents as Ancil Manley and Elizabeth Butler. I'm confident that I have this line identified.
The mystery line is a lot harder ro track. I have a William Foster and a Susan Manley living in the same county (Benton County, MO) in the 1850's. Susan was born @1835 in Tennessee but i have no further information on her.
Do these families look familiar?
