Thanks, Melissa. Your website is very well done. Oh, and you make a lovely Wood Sprite.
There is a mention in the new book, "Mother Monroe",(justout, a history of sorts of Monroe Co, MS.mostly of Aberdeen),on page 96 stating: "....Mr. Will Watkins says that the strongest Church in Cotton Gin Port fifty or more years ago was the Christian Church of which Reverend Manierre was pastor." I would suspect that this is a reference to Benjamin Franklin Manire.
