Col. William Edward Manhard

In 1957 I met Col. William Edward Manhard on a freighter from Brooklyn to Le Havre. He was on a world tour to inspect port facilities, already in his 70's. Col. Manhard had enlisted in the Canadian Engineers in WWI and later was in the US Army. He told me some interesting stories about his life in the week we spent together. I have always remembered him fondly and would like to contact any of his relatives who knew him or know of him.
