Hi my name is Donna Morgan Miller. I am the daughter of Leroy Morgan and Lucy Mangum. I was born in 1952 in Paragougld Arkansas. My mother's father was Jones Mangum. He was married to Emma Murdock. My Grandfather died of cancer when he was 46 years old. His brother Jim was a retired officer in the army. My mother tells me of a time when the family split and part of the family settled in Craighead County in Arkansas and part of them went to Oklahoma and developed a town that is called Mangum City. It is in the western part of the state. My great Uncle Jim went there before he died and found an aunt of his that was still living at 114. She walked a mile into town everyday and got her mail and groceries. She still had a very alert mind at the time.
