My grandfather's name originally was Anthony Mangiarcina from Sicily. He came here in 1900 and settled in Hammond, Louisiana, just north of New Orleans. Somehow our name was changed to Mangerchine in the early part of the century and no one knows why. My middle name is Anthony. I'm curious as to what your middle name is. My grandfather met my grandmother in Chicago, Il. in about 1919. Do you have any information on the Mangiarcina name? If so, feel free to E-mail me. Thanks.
