Kate Mangan, Knocknagoshel, Two Gneeves

Hi all,

I notice that a few people here seem to have some information on Mangans from Knocknagoshel.

My great-great grandmother was Kate (Catherine) Mangan from Knocknagoshel and she was supposedly related to the Bishop of Kerry.

She married William Curtin of Two Gneeves, Brosna, son of William Denis Curtin and Margaret Fitzgerald. Their son in turn was know as William the Third (b. 1872), and his daughter Mary (ca 1911) was my grandmother. She married Eddie Scanlon and lived in Knockefrechane.

We know little else about Kate Mangan, and would be grateful for any morsels of information that would add to our knowledge of her part of the family.

Much appreciated,
Eileen Tollan
