I have a family Bible that was apparently given to a Thompson W. Manes by his mother. There's other family information also. I think it says he was born in 1842 but it doesn't say where or who his parents were. My Manes married into the York's in Pulaski County, Missouri so if we're related I can't tie it together. The Bible came from a guy who got it in Pennsylvania. This name is unusual. Does anybody know if there's a connection? Kind of vague I know, sorry.
