On the 1850 Henderson County, TN census is listed Mary Manus 50, Elizabeth Manus 15, and James Manus 13. They are in household of David Fortner 30, Melona 16 and John T. 9/12 yrs old. My thoughts are that Melona was probably Mary's daughter and married(fact)to my ggg-grandfather David.
