Hi, Donna, I am researching my husband's Maness line (spelling variation?) and noticed a Daniel in your posting. Do you know where your Maner family went after NC? My brick wall is Daniel Maness, who served in the Civil War, at the approx. age of 40-42, from MS. It is rumored that his family came from NC via TN. Thank you, Lisa
