Hi!

Sorry i speak not verry well in english, i speak french! ;)

I look for my ancestor Jean-Baptiste de Mandeville (le camarade de)born on 1798, his father come from France, Normandie......and mother was a indian of trib of "castor".....he help Franklin to translate....
he had a son called Jean-Baptiste de Mandeville too....born on 1831, proably to Fort-Resolution.....his mother was a Slave Indian......

we have Parents of Philip-Xavier (my grand-father):
Father: François Mandeville half-breed metis born on Fort Resolution 1880
Mother Marie Marguerite Laferty half breed too.

Parents of François
Father: Michel Mandeville half-breed metis born on Fort Resolution on 1857
Mother: Marie ? born on 1855 Slave Indian married on 1873 Fort Resolution
Sisters and brothers of François: Madeleine born 1877, Isidore, Elizabeth, *MIchel, *Pierre, *Marguerite, *John, *Caroline, *louis Alfphonse, *Leon Patrie, Joseph Elzear.
*=death probably when young.....

Parents of Michel
Father: François Mandeville half breed Metis
mother: Marie Maunzie Slave Indian
