I believe i am related to Peter Williamse Roome who died in 1792 and his wife Hester Van Gilder who also died in 1792.
Their offspring was Peter Roome 1703-1778, married to Anna Berry.
Their offspring Catalyna Roome born 1728 who married Nicholas Slingerland.
Their offspring was John Slingerland born 1851 who married Elizabeth Manderville
Their offspring was Nicholas Slingerland 1773-1835 who married Sarah Ackerman born 1784
Their offspring were Elizabeth Slingerland born 1803 who married Samuel Hall 1905-1874 in Newark NJ
Their offspring Sarah Elizabeth Hall 1833-1920 who married Alexander Taber 1827-1873 who was my great great great grandfather. My father impregnated Sybil Boutilier, they did not marry.
