The g.g.g.g. father of my wife is HENGEN (Hentgen) Pierre, * March, 19.1768 in Clausen/Luxembourg , oo 1793 WERCOLIER (VERCULG…, WAERKOLGEN) Marie, * June, 20.1775 in Clausen/Luxembourg. As I know, as far, they had 2 children:
- HENGEN (HENTGEN) Nicolas, * January 07. 1797 in Sandweiler, + 04. November 1874, Weistel/Luxembourg, oo 14. November 1817 Niederanven/Luxembourg, BULTGEN Elisabeth, * 17. November 1796 in Weistel/Luxembourg, + 19. February 1875 (age 78) in Weistel. This family stayed in Luxembourg
- HENGEN Elisabeth, * 29. December 1799, Sandweiler or Ernster (I will try to find out), + 25. November 1893, St. Donatus/Iowa/USA oo 09. January 1823 in Sandweiler, MANDERS Mathias, * 28. June 1796, Birelerhof, (son of Manders Nicolas oo Capesius Marguerite), + 13. Juni 1869, St. Donatus/USA. With the "American Sea Lion" they drove in 1850 from Antwerp to the States. They had 9 children, all * in Sandweiler: Maria oo WEINSCHENK Xaverius, Peter, oo CAPESIUS Catharina Rosalia, Michel, Peter, called John-Peter, oo HINTGEN Catharina, Mathias, oo 1. MEYSENBURG Susanne, oo 2. GLODEN Elisabeth. ...

I have these information's of the "Sandweiler Notizen"/number 3, edited in 1990, written by Liliane Stemper-Brickler. So please try to contact her. I don't have her E-Mail - nevertheless I think that I can't give all the information's because she insisted in her publication of her copyright. Her address might be: 6, rue de Mamer, L-8390 Nospelt, Luxembourg (but I am not sure).

The family Manders/Hengen is not my primary genealogy-research, however I am interested!
