Hello Gerard:
I have not heard from Anny yet!
I am trying to find out any information on Jan Willem Manders to see if he could possibly be my great great grandfather William Manders. In one of Dr. Swierenga's books he lists Jan Willem Manders from the town of Vorden, Gelderland Province. He also states he emigrated on May 25, 1855 from the port of Rotterdam. He is listed as 39 years old and reason for emigrating was to join family and friends. There is no other Manders male coming to this country that could match with my William but this man. I sure hope you can give me some information on him and his family.
Sincerely
Mary Manders Everard
