I was wondering if anyone else was researching William Mander. William is my husband's 3x Great Grandfather.
William was married to Mary ?? and his daughters marriage certificate states that he was a gardener.
Mary (the daughter) was born at Beoley in Worcestershire in 1819 and married at Studley in Warwickshire in 1836 to Henry Gower. But because of her eldest sister was born in Nether Whitacre in Warwickshire, she stated on the census forms that she was born there.
I understand that there were two William and Marys at Beoley at the same time. The other one being a farmer as opposed to a gardener.
If anyone else is researching this family I would love to hear from them.
