Does anyone have any information on Arthur Shoe Mander born in Southampton, England in about 1853 and his wife Ellen? They had several children:
Frederick C b. 1874
Annie Ellen b. 1876 (my grandmother)
Gertrude C (possibly Constance) b. 1879
Esther H b. 1880
Charles Victor b. 1884
Kate A b. 1886
Walter C b. 1888 (poss. killed in WW1)
Arthur was at one time a reporter in London England and then a solicitor's clerk. At one time the family was living in Swaffham, Norfolk, England.
