You surprise me. I didn't think that our family were in Liverpool or Manchester at that time - It's interestingbecause I live in Manchester and sail in Liverpool bay. The Manders' generally are from Northampton in the Midlands and my branch were big in furniture making in High Wycombe west of London. Of course the name origin is obscure and there may be many "Mander" families. We;ve ony done research on my wife who is an "Eelbeck" but you've prompted me. I'll try to find some time to look for your people.
