I have been trying to get some info on the Mancil family also. Haven't searched the net but I do have a family bible with some info in it. My father was Charlie S. Mancil. I have one deseased brother, Charles Wayne Mancil. One living brother, Kenneth Doyle Mancil. Three sisters, Sarah E., Alice L. and Minnie K. As far as we know the family came from Georgia soon after the civil war and settled in Alabama. In Butler County.
Our Grandfather was William M. Mancil. I don't have the bible with me at present but would be glad to get the info for you.
I answered because your name was the same as my dead brother.
