My ggreat grandfather was John Franklin Manahan, the youngest son of Samuel and Sarah Murphy. Where did you find that John F. was married to someone before Malinda Seely? I would truly be interested in this information as well as any information on Samuel and his parents if you have this. Do you need information on Theophilus? There were three of John Franklin's sons that were in the civil war, so we have been told. They were also in the co. G of the 31 Mississippi Infantry division.
Theophilus, Thaddeus (my great grandfather), and probably
Samuel. I will be glad to share any information I have on my family. I would like to find out more about Samuel the father of John F.
