I would appreciate any Maltby/Maltbie/Maltbay/Maultbay/Malby genealogy information you can furnish me. I am finding that the last name suffered through several different spellings. I did find a Peter Maltbay who married Elizabeth Livingston/Levingston in Wilkes County, NC around 1825 and I 'think' this Peter may have been the father of the Reuben Maultby that is the beginning of my Maultbays in Tennessee. And I found several varied spellings of the last name in Civil War records in Georgia. Thanks in advance.
