MATTOCKS OR SUTTON-MATTOCKS
Hello, looking for any information on the descendents of William Sutton Mattocks and Maria Rosa Cachia both born around 1839 - Maria in Conspicua, Malta.William was in the 1st Battalion 25th Regiment of Foot in 1886 he was Garrison Sergeant Major.He had at least 4 children. Catherine Sutton Mattocks, John J. Mattocks, Joseph Mattocks and Frances Joseph Thomas Mattocks who married in Malta and seemed to have settled there living at 21 Alexandra Street, Valleta.Francis and his wife Rosary had a number of children.Rose Julia (I think), William (who sadly died in the 1st World War), Stella, Evelyn, Albert, Victor, Reginald, Charles and Rita.Francis was in the Royal Artillery.Any information much appreciated.
