Would Owen Buchanan MALPASS be the same or related to a Owen B. MALPASS b. abt 1855 listed on the 1920 Grady, Pender Co., NC Census?

MALPASS, Owen B. age 65
"", Catherine J. age 50?? (maiden name unkn at this time)
MALPASS, Maude age 18
"", Lorena age 14

This is the all I know of this family except that Lorena MALPASS b.Jun 6, 1903 Pender Co., NC-d.Feb 25, 1987 Wilmington, New Hanover Co., NC. She was married to Zebulon Lebarron HUNT s/o Robert Allen & Bethian R. HUNT.

I have further information for those interested connecting surnames: BARNHILL, PRIDGEN, HUNT, HORRELL, KING, POTTER, SHERMAN, etc...
