In 1850 in Duplin Co., NC census record shows John Malpass age 75 living with Hepsey Taylor age 40 and two Taylor children: James 20 and Am???? age 18.
In 1860 in Duplin John Malpass age 86 is living next to door James R Taylor age 30, James wife and child and Hepsey Williams age 55.
In 1870 in Duplin John Malpass age 93 and Hepsey Malpass age 60 are living in the home of James Taylor.
In 1880 Hepsey Taylor age 71 is living in the home of her grandson, William Taylor.
Does anyone out there know ANYTHING about these folks????Was Hepsey John's daughter?? Is this the John born 1773 and mentioned in the family Bible?
