Hi Phillip.
I have just found out that my Great Grandad
George Malpass was from Knighton in Shropshire
somewhere near the Wrekin.
He was born in 1857.
He also lived at Tyrley in 1881 but i do not know where this place is.
Somewhere about 1882 he moved to Great Haywood, Staffordshire to help with the restoration of Ingestre Hall after the fire of 1882.
Here he settled and is now buried at Holy Trinity Church, Eccleshall, Staffordshire with his wife Martha Placida Hitchen.
Can you help me? Does George have any connections to your side of the family. I think he had a sister called Susan.
