I have traced my family back to George Malpass born in 1857 at Knighton in Staffordshire or Shropshire (not sure exactly yet which). He is now buried in Holy Trinity Church yard at Eccleshall, Staffordshire with his wife Martha Placida (Nee Hitchin) who was born in 1858 at Offley in Staffordshire.
George & Martha are my Gt Grandparents. They had to my knowledge 13 Children.
Albert, Alice, Annie, Baden, Eunice, Gertrude, Joseph, Kathleen, Polly, George William, Florence, Edith & Sidney.
Do any of these names ring a bell.
